  3. I guess I can help you after all, but I don't really know what I'm doing with Zippyshare. Here are three separate files for Mashed Potatoes Part 2, Bad Business Baby, and Happy Love.

  4. Hi Prof. I could find only one for you.
Kitty Kallen - Here's To Us

    https://www61.zippyshare.com/v/GHDErXik/file.html

from vinyl but I cut out all the big ticks.
Sounds good for 56 year old single.

I have the full length, 6 plus minutes, recording of Jimmy Smith's Bashin' as well as Part 1. If it doesn't turn up it would be easy enough to recreate a Part 2 from the full length recording.

    1. Thanks for Kitty Kallen. Yes, sounds good for 56 year old single.
I have Jimmy Smith and other jazz musicians full length versions. I can use Audacity to edit Pt.1 & Pt.2 but I would like to avoid such solutions.

    1. In my opinion, 1962-1966 are the the best years of modern music. In 1962 I was 15 and spent evening listening radio Luxembourg, when visiting my family in London I've been spending hours in record stores.

    2. I agree. Great year...if only we could go back and relive it.

    1. I'm trying to find this file but I'm afraid that it is lost somewhere in my numerous computers. Anyway, all these tracks that missed Hot 100 by one position will appear in Hot 100 & BU compilations and definitely many of them in better quality. I've started 1960 in the late October and plan to finish 1962 in the early January. With this pace, the 60's should be completed before summer 2019.

  12. Thanks again, Professor. I'm about a year older than you, but love early to late sixties music as well... I din't get to London until 1968, but spend hours listening to Radio Lux and trolling record stores...
    Cheer,
    Mike

  15. continued...
Must admit I enjoyed Radio Veronica much more than Radio Lux. Veronica introduced me to so many European artists...

    1. I live in Europe, where, in the 60s, American music was limited to top artists. I've started exploring this music with the inception of CD era. Radio Veronica was not available in Poland, but signal of Radio Lux was strong and very popular. Even one Polish newspaper was publishing UK weekly Top 20, as presented in Radio Lux.

Thanks for 1962 (I was 11). I listened to Radio Caroline in my day. I also remember a BBC radio show called 2 way Family Favourites were they sent greetings out to British soldiers overseas. I'm looking forward to 1963.
