Freddie North. Freddie B. Carpenter Jr. R&B singer (born 1939, Nashville, Tennessee - died 2025). He began his singing career IN 1957 with the vocal doo wop group The Rookies, and he embarked on a solo career in the 1960s.

The Nortones. Teen Sound group formed by Steve Barri (Steven Barry Lipkin, left; see T14) and Bernie Reed.
