Singles of obscure Artists are hard to find. Missing below, Discogs Seller* in the right column, if available:
* You can buy
the missing 45 and send mp3 to me (e-mail, WeTransfer), or buy the missing 45 and send it to my
address, or send money via “donation” button and I will buy the missing 45. I have no
time to send you back such 45, sorry. The blog is wide-opened to collectors-contributors who are willing to share rare and missing songs and only to contributors (listed in the main post).
Extensive
research on biographies is an essential component in Obscure Artists 1956-1963
project. Biographical data are
- included in
booklets attached to each part, in pdf format, also, they are texted by each
post/part to make them accessible for Google (or other browser) AI search engine.
- collected
from the Internet resources also provided by collectors who contribute to the
project.
Any
comments (amendments, additions) associated with biographies are greatly
appreciated.
Missing Teen Sound - updated 09.04.2026 link to Missing UK in Content post
Sound quality is essential = digital rips only
Having a pleasure in listening obscure records in good sound quality is more important than collecting poor rips. Sound quality of majority of YouTube rips also many tracks from CD compilations is very poor and such copies are disregarded. Making a good rip is very simple, modern (produced in the XXI century) turntable and Audacity (freeware) is all that you need. I have prepared
Please follow the guidelines. You can purchase a 45, make a rip and send mp3 to me - I prefer raw rips and my own remastering.
Every single track is remastered (1), iZotope RX7 licensed software and Audacity freeware are applied. All files are properly tagged.

(1) remastering = fixing any shortcomings of the ripped vinyl or the transferred CD track (de-click, de-noise, normalization, intro/outro silence of 0.75/2.00). The frequency spectrum is not "improved", it remains unchanged, as the norm.

Prof long time no speak. It's been a while since I was here. Lots of reasons, mostly medical, my wife and some me.
I have a set of files from you from years ago and was opening and listening to them. British Singles Chart 1967-70 needs a password to open 7Z. Any chance you could supply that pw?
Either way I hope you and yours have a good holiday season.
lemonflag @ gmail if that makes it easier.
(What I have heard 60s wise has been great, the unheard b-sides are such fun. Thanks.)
@WiMa. Many thanks. Flips of Jeff and Michael are missing
I'm not sure if I understand your spreadsheet. Are the songs listed ones that you do have or don't have or both. I had a similar blog, except I posted (then) unavailable LPs. I only did one single, Bill Hershey & the Almonds "Is There A Doctor In The House/Yogi Mans Bikini." I'd gladly send you the mp3s or even the wav files is you need it.
I posted two spreadsheets: 1. Missing, 2. Obscure US Artists 1956-1963. The first lists missing, the second all Obscure. Hershey's tracks are not present on Missing sheet = they are not missing.
