Obscure American Artists 1956-1963, Teen 199

Alan Roberts. Several artists active 1956-1965 used this name. Two singles, presumably by different artist, are classified by Kreiter as Teen Sound.

Bob Thomas. Teen Pop vocalist - one single for Abel Records (label, associated with Laurie Records - label from NYC).

P.F. Sloan. Born Philip Gary Schlein in New York City in 1945, to a Jewish-American father and a Romanian-born mother. When Sloan was 13 his father bought him a guitar. In 1959, at 14, "Flip" Sloan recorded the first single, for the L.A. R&B record label Aladdin Records, which folded soon after its release. In 1960 he recorded the second single, released by Mart Records (label from Beverly Hills, California) and credited to Phil Sloan.
During the mid-1960s, he wrote, performed, and produced many Billboard Top 20 hits.  He died in 2015 at his home in Los Angeles, from pancreatic cancer.
