Thank you for providing these excellent R&B collections. I've only just noticed the phrase "Hits that didn't enter other Charts" on these posting, and I'm wondering if that's strictly true. Looking at 1947, for example, I see a couple of chart-toppers from that year straight off ("Merry Christmas Baby" and "Blow Mr. Jackson"). I'm not playing Gotcha ... just wondering what the criterion for inclusion really is, since these aren't meant to be Whitburn-like research tools.

Keep up the great work, it's much appreciated...

Many thanks for your kind words. Sharing my hobby is a big pleasure for me. Whitburn books are my references and Merry Christmas Baby can be found only in R&B, it does not appear in Pop, same as other Charles Brown (J. Moore) hits and Blow Mr. Jackson. Obviously, it may happen that by omission, I will include "only" R&B hit that also entered Pop, but not this time.

By "other Charts" I mean Pop and Adult Contemporary, not Country.
