British Singles Chart 1952-1966

1952-1959: New Musical Express chart                                      track-list UK Chart 60's
1960-1969: Record Retailer chart + NME chart entries that didn’t enter RR chart

The compilations are not copies of Acrobat British Hit Parade Series - large number of discrepancies can be found there also sound quality of many tracks is questionable, nearly all are speeded-up!!!

E53.01  E53.02  E53.03  E53.04  E53.05

Wow, I can't wait. This looks amazing. I was one in 1952 but I remember hearing tunes on the radio when I was 5-6 so this will surely bring that all back. Thanks.

Hi - I'm Having trouble downloading these, is there a password?

Yes Dave,
The passes can be found on the spreadsheet with passes, the rightmost column. You have a link to this spreadsheet, same link for all passes. I'm updating this spreadsheet practically every day, the link is unchanged.

Hi Professor - thanks for your quick reply, however, maybe due to my age I'm unable to access the files. It's a shame as I had many of the 78's and 45's at the time. Once again thanks for your reply.
Yours Dave Hicks

Hi again - I've now sorted myself out and can now download the files.
Thanks again - sorry for bothering you

Hi Prof. Just been downloading 1964 and 64.05 and 64.06 both point to 64.04. Can you update the links to the right files please?

NB This is a different account from the one you sent me the pass spread link to

Many thanks. Blogger's fault. Corrected. BTW, Blogger is very user unfriendly soft, many useful features are missing, difficulty in correcting link, etc.

Hi Prof
52 53 & 54 are they just re-ups or are there any upgrades?

PS hope you are keeping well, have you had your shot yet? I am still waiting for mine.

Professor RnR said...

Why do you think that 1952-1954 could be re-ups. These files have been remastered, before posting, and no need for upgrade!
My shot in 12 days.

On my page new links show up as yellow, after dl they change to orange. The links for 55 have also now gone back to yellow. This usually means they have been renewed. If you have made no changes I was wondering why they changed. Thanks.

Glad to hear you are getting vaccinated, nothing yet for me. My brother-in-law in England died from covid in just a few days back in Jan.

E66.19 link not working

Professor RnR said...

Deleted and re-entered. Please confirm. Too many links per one post, I'm afraid. For the last 3 years, I will open a new post.

RMstorm said...

E66.19 working now.
Thanks.
