Johnnie Spence. Born John Spence Abrahams (4 February 1936 – 15 August 1977), British musical arranger, director, and orchestra leader. He is credited with the arrangements and musical direction of numerous records and television light entertainment works throughout the 1960s and 1970s. In the late 1950s, Spence became piano accompanist to Anne Shelton, a popular English vocalist. In the 1960s Johnnie Spence went on to become one of the most respected arrangers, conductors and composers in the business. With the success of Parlophone as a pop label, he became orchestral arranger for recordings and television shows. Johnnie Spence & His Orchestra released several of their own records, predominantly of television and film themes (four singles between 1960 and 1962 on Parlophone).

Dean Stevens. Obscure British teen-pop singer. Between 1962 and 1964 recorded three singles, for Philips (composed 3/6 of all songs).

Ricky Stevens. Born Kenneth Leonard Foskett, in London. British teen-pop singer – three singles and one EP, released between 1961 and 1963 on Columbia, with Geoff Love & His Orchestra. 

The Statesmen. A five piece Merseybeat band from Manchester. In 1963 they recorded the first single, at Decca Abbey Road studios. Then, they moved to Brian Epstein and began to work throughout the Liverpool circuit of clubs including The Cavern, also few weeks residence at the Star Club in Hamburg. In 1964 they recorded the second single with Fontana.
