Cecelia Batten. Cecelia Batten Wallace (1935 - 2020). Pop singer, grew up in Mt. Gilead, North Carolilna. She won various singing talent contests, took leading roles in musical comedies and became a recording artist for Colonial Records. She recorded the first single in 1957 while a senior in college. The next year she married and retired from singing.

G. Notes. Three sisters, 12 year old Linda, 10 year old Nancy, and 3 year old Coleen. Their father, Sam Gino, built a recording studio for them in his home in Thousand Oaks, California. Ricky Page, wife of record producer George Motola, discovered these kids while watching them perform on an amateur show and brought them to George's attention. In 1958 the girls recorded one single (I Would/Ronnie). released in the Motola’s label Jackpot Records. these sides have Eddie Cochran on guitar. In 1959 they released two singles for small California labels .
In 1961, the sisters recorded (three tracks) for Hart as The Gino Sisters (see Tcxx).
In 1963, The two older sisters Linda and Nancy cut a single  for Mercury with  a young boy as Jeff & The Gino's (see Tb27). Linda and Nancy were later members of the folk group called The Youngfolk.

Dee Matt & The Fabulous Cenders. Rockabilly band from Pennsylvania. One single for Primos Records (label from Primos, Pennsylvania).

Judy Winkler. Teen Sound female singer. One single for JDS Records (label from New York City) with Orchestra under the direction of Jerry Ragavoy - one of the earliest label credits for Ragavoy.

Bob & Carol. Husband-wife vocal duo. In 1960/1961 they released three singles for Warner Bros. Bob co-wrote all songs with his buddy Earl Sinks (see T13).
From 1949-1955 Bob Montgomery was the duet partner of Buddy Holly. Montgomery moved to Nashville in late 1959 and became a staff songwriter for Acuff-Rose Publishing. He recorded one solo single for Coral.
Carol Montgomery was back-up singer in Nashville and Muscle Shoals for about 20 years in the 60's and 70's (Elvis, Bob Dylan, Marie Osmond, Dolly Parton, Jerry Lee Lewis, etc.). She recorded two solo singles for Sound Stage 7.

Bill Wilson. Rockabilly singer, guitarist and songwriter from Durham, NC. One single for Brooke (label from Asheboro, North Carolina).

Bobby Wilde. Pseudonym for ASCAP songwriter Bob Goldstein from NYC, who wrote for BMI as Robert Wilde. Recorded one single for Southside Records (label from NYC). 

Jimmy Wilde. Teen Sound singer. One single for Chelsea Records (label from NYC).

Troy Williams. Teen Pop singer. One single for Hi Records (Memphis, Tennessee rockabilly and soul label).

Freddie Willis. Soul and Doo-Wop singer. One single for Doré.

Lindy Wade. Teen Pop singer. One single for Tender (small independent label in Southern California).

Bob Waddell. Pop singer from Durham, NC (1928 - 1990), educated in a music conservatory and a great opera lover, didn't much like rock 'n' roll. He appeared on the nationally-televised Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts in 1956. In 1957 and 1958 he recorded two singles in rock and roll style.

Johnny Voit. Rock and Country musician from Gogebic County area, Minnesota, known as “Big John” (1935 - 2010). One single for Oxboro Records (label from Minneapolis, Minnesota).

Jimmy Voytek. Rock and Country musician from Florida (1938 - 1980). In 1959 and 1960, while working at an RCA Victor branch, Voytek recorded two singles (one of them as Jimmy Voytex) for two local labels, neither of which charted. He then gave up his music career and worked as a police officer in Miami until 1976. In 1976, he left Miami and tried his luck as a country musician in Nashville , Tennessee.
