Hi Professor,
Here's another one, Frankie Laine's "Sometimes."
https://www24.zippyshare.com/v/oJRdhbMF/file.html
Also, I don't know if you caught it or not, but on today's (02 April) TZ blog, Clash posted your Anna King "Baby Baby Baby" instrumental side that you were needing from 1964.
Dockman
"Only two"? Even two, many thanks.
Thanks for F. Laine. Yes, I caught Anna King, slightly cleaned and 64.17 already updated.
Also, is Johnnie Taylor's "Strange Things" your rip? If so, can you repeat it such that the intro is not cut by 0.5 sec. I have added 1 sec of silence but it is not the same.
No, I found it on another blog on the internet (Groovy Gumbo) and so, unfortunately, cannot fix it. Sorry.
Thanks so much for this great posts, top 40 was the best. It seems the link 67.03 031-045 is not working .

(also added the missing 1966 XMAS song
Grts and keep up the good things
Fantastic, many many thaks. Few remarks:
1. Last Word’s is abruptly cut at 2:07, its duration should be 2:20. Is it your rip? If so, can you send me the uncut copy.
2. “Cottage for Sale” from Nina Simone & Her Friends album is Chris Connor’s 1959 version, not McRae’s (please check Discogs, Wikipedia). Probably by mistake, you have doubled this version – McRae’s version with Herbie Mann that you’ve included is actually Connor’s version. Do you have McRae + Herbie Mann version?
3. Can you repeat Casinos’ rip. It is slightly cut, by 2-3 seconds. Don’t bother the crackles at the end as I’m cleaning each vinyl rip anyway and I prefer crackling ending more than cut.
4. B-side of Shacklefords’ “California Sunshine Girl” is the Instrumental version of the same song and this version is missing, not the vocal one.
Sorry for being so pest but I’m trying to keep each track as close the original version as possible.
Hi Professor
Don't be sorry for the few remarks on my provided songs.
here are two songs out of the 4 remarks
https://www88.zippyshare.com/v/KoVeLSD5/file.html
1)Indeed, I made a mistake on "Cottage for sale".
I think the song in DL is the good one (3:03)
2) Last World in DL is of a minor quality with lots of crackles but it's an uncut version of 2:20
3) The instrumental version of 'California Sunshine Girl' I don't have (sorry)
4) And for the Casino's I haven't got an uncut version at the end. The version I got came from a former friend about 20 years ago (also sorry)
Grts
Here's some odds and ends your missing
Ike & Tina Turner - God Gave Me You 1964
Guy Mitchell - Rusty Old Halo 1962
Cannibal & The Headhunters - Love Bird 1966
Don Gardner & Dee Dee Ford - Deed I Do 1962
The By Liners - Mary Lou Brown 1961
https://www25.zippyshare.com/v/H1BTRkEf/file.html
By the way, That Cannibal and the Headhunters track is the B side of Land of A Thousand Dances that was a reissued single on Date records which they went to later that year. The original hit was on Rampart records earlier with a different B side.
Many thanks for these gems - I'll update the corresponding files immediately. I have Cannibal's track, have found it on compilation CD under slightly changed title: Mockingbird instead of Love Bird. Two versions of Land of 1000 Dances (Rampart and Date) differ (20 sec difference) and I have included both, together with different B-sides, on corresponding instalments.
Yes, this is the correct version of Cottage for Sale - many thanks.
Quality of incomplete Last Word (some 5 seconds missing at the beginning and at the end) is very good, quality of the complete version is poor and it is impossible to merge both tracks due to poor quality of the beginning of the complete copy. Then, we will be searching for better quality copy.
After the 4th iteration only 15+1 are missing (<1%) - many many thanks to all that helped me to reduce this wish-list:
Carter, Mel Look To The Rainbow
Friends Of Ed Labunski, The Spoiler, The
Welch, Lenny Until The Real Thing Comes Along (Single Mix 2:57)
Charles, Ray, Singers Bless Your Heart
Elmo & Almo When The Good Sun Shines - Part 2
Hirt, Al Big Honey
Shacklefords, The California Sunshine Girl - instrumental
Casinos, The Forever And A Night
Randolph, Boots You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' (Single Edit 2:30)
Arnold, Eddy Long Ride Home, The
Wright, Charles Charley
White, Roger Wild Roses
Last Word, The (3) Don't Fight It
Every Father's Teenage Son Josephine's Song
Jones, Jack That Tiny World
Lamb, Becky Go To Sleep Little Lamb (Xms)
A little short . . . The file "319A Bob Crewe Generation - Miniskirts In Moscow or..." is only about 10 seconds long.
a bog thank you from Aussie 4 all this great music - Aussie

Hi Professor,
FYI, 921B is the Dutch band "Outsiders", not the American band. Wrong song I believe.
Thanks for a great site!
