Obscure American Artists 1956-1963, Teen 188

 


"Big T" Tony Val. Soul vocalist from New York City. One single for Lil-Tee (small local label), George Butcher (prolific pianist, arranger from Broadway) production.

Bubbi Hoag. Doo-Wop vocalist. One single for  Willow Records (label from New York City).

Bobby Kalina. Singer and songwriter from New York City. In 1966 recorded as Bobby St. Clair. Later became a criminal defense lawyer for the music industry.

 

Irving Fuller & The Chorvettes. Rock 'n' roll / doo wop group from Durham, North Carolina. Spelled Corvettes on their 2nd/last single.


Felicia Sanders. Born Felice Schwartz in 1921, in Mount Vernon, New York but was raised in Southern California (died 1975), singer of traditional pop music. She sang in the 1940's, with big bands and on the radio based in Los Angeles, California. Between 1953 and 1961 she recorded numerous singles for Decca and Columbia, two for Mercury (one of them listed by Kreiter).









Dick Duane. Singer of traditional pop music (1929 - 2021). Beyond his musical recordings, Dick Duane was a successful advertising executive (creating campaigns for Kent cigarettes).
